During my studies at university, the most wonderful student event in which I have participated several times were national competitions of metals production and recovery (MPRC, in Persian). These competitions were held every year by the Union of Materials Engineering Scientific Societies (IROMES, in Persian). I, as a group member, have taken part 3 times and succeeded to achieve a 1^st place and a 2^nd place award in 2017 and 2019, respectively. In these years, competitions were around the production of Ni, Co, and Mn from primary or secondary resources.
